These terms cover your use of 247plumberforestgrove.com and the phone line at (503) 974-3329, operated by Forest Grove 24/7 Plumbing at 2625 Pacific Ave, Forest Grove, OR 97116. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
We wrote these terms in plain language so they are easy to follow. Where something is serious, such as safety, we say it directly.
What This Website Is
The website provides general information about plumbing and about our telephone service. It is not a substitute for a plumber looking at your property. Articles, tables and cost ranges are written for a general reader, and your home, your pipes and your situation may differ.
Cost figures on this site come from public cost guides, such as Angi and HomeGuide, and are shown as ranges for context. They are not quotes and not our prices. Cost guides can be wrong for your job, and prices change over time. We try to keep the content accurate, but we cannot promise it is complete or current.
Calls to our line may be recorded for quality and training purposes.
Prices and Service
You will be told the price of a job before work starts. That price is based on what the plumber can see and learn at the time. If new problems appear during the work, such as a hidden leak or damaged pipe behind a wall, the plumber will stop and explain the change before continuing. You can accept or decline.
After-hours work may carry an added charge, and the dispatcher or plumber should tell you about it before you agree. Permits, parts and disposal fees may be extra. Ask for the full picture before you say yes. Read any paperwork you are given before you sign it.
We do not promise an arrival time. Travel conditions, weather and call volume are outside our control, and the dispatcher will tell you honestly what they know.
Emergencies, Gas and Safety
This website is not an emergency service. If someone is hurt, in danger or trapped, call 911. If you smell gas, leave the building immediately and call NW Natural at 800-882-3377 or 911 from outside. Do not use switches, flames or a phone inside. We do not diagnose gas leaks over the phone.
For a plumbing emergency, call our line. Do not use email or this website to ask for help, because nobody watches them for emergencies. While you wait, close the main shutoff valve at your house. Do not turn water off at the city meter, since City of Forest Grove policy bars it, and if the meter or line breaks the repair is at the property owner's expense.
Do-it-yourself tips on this site are general suggestions. Plumbing, electrical and gas work can be dangerous. If a task is beyond your comfort or involves gas, electricity, a roof or a crawlspace, call a licensed professional. You act on any tip at your own risk.
Licensing and Permits
Plumbing work in Oregon is regulated. We encourage you to confirm the license of any plumber, including ours, through the Construction Contractors Board at search.ccb.state.or.us or the Building Codes Division license search. Some work requires a permit, and the person doing the work is responsible for getting it. Information on this site about codes and permits is general and may be out of date, so confirm with the permitting office for your address.
Third-Party Links and Content
The site may point to websites run by governments, utilities or other outside parties, such as the City of Forest Grove, Clean Water Services, NW Natural and the State of Oregon. Embedded content, such as a map, comes from outside providers. We do not control those sources and are not responsible for what they say or how they handle your information. Visiting them is at your own discretion.
Ownership and Acceptable Use
The text, layout and design of this site belong to Forest Grove 24/7 Plumbing. You may read it, print a page for your own use and share a link. You may not copy large parts of the site for another site, scrape it automatically or try to interfere with its operation.
Limits of Liability
We provide the website as is. To the extent Oregon law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the site, relying on its general information, or being unable to reach it. That includes indirect losses such as lost income.
These limits apply to the website and its information. They do not take away any rights you have under Oregon law in connection with plumbing work done at your property, and they do not limit liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
If you have a claim or complaint, tell us first, using the email below or the phone line, and give us a chance to respond. If you are not satisfied, the Oregon Construction Contractors Board takes complaints about licensed contractors.
Governing Law and Changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
We may change these terms from time to time. The version on this page is the current one, and continued use of the site means you accept the changes. Privacy practices are described on our privacy page.
Questions about these terms can go to contact@247plumberforestgrove.com. That address is for non-urgent business questions, and it is not for service requests. For plumbing help, call (503) 974-3329.
